UP Linux Users' Group

It was more of a impromptu suggestion from me on one of the meetings and I honestly did not think it would turn out nicely enough because the thread seemed like it did not want to push through. Once again, UnPLUG proved itself good at last-minute pushes. It was tiring on my part (of course it was, I was the one picking people up, providing directions etc) but it was fatigue well spent. The food was relatively gastronomic, considering our tight budget. Jason and Jean made “Jason’s world-famous french fries” with kikiam as our finger foods, Jong (a fresh recruit) made his own vegan cuisine. [I forgot to ask about the recipe], Kyle and KX made their “Super Hot and Spicy Tuna Special” (which did not go with ice cream, they claimed; will be the final rites for joining UP Tuna Lovers or UP TuLo, yes, yes, pun here). And of course, no UnPLUG meeting is ever complete without pizza. :D The meeting was kept short, partly because some people already had to leave and because I forgot to include the year’s accomplishments. It will be a busy year next year and we better use this vacation as preparation. All in all, it was fun.
